This afternoon flight took place following a reunion of a group of high school friends. Kinda fun to show off what has been learned
since those long ago days...
That's Mike on the left and Brian on the right. Brian and I have known each other over 25 years.
Brian was my best man, and I've
been his. We've been housemates, and also crewed for the same balloons down in Oklahoma.
Our launch site was a harvested wheat field on the south side of town that would give us a flight path right over our
old stomping grounds.
BJ and Adam were our first passengers of the afternoon; we were able to touch down for a passenger change
to give Matt and
Nicole their first flights as well.
It was a lazy, wandering flight that ended up right across the road from the house in which I grew up.
