The first Nebraska Balloon Club Club Flight of 2008, and a surprise for one of our passengers.

As Jester stands up and makes room, Propane Addiction begins to fill with air.

Ryan and Cathy prepare to take to the air. Cathy doesn't yet know it, but Ryan's nervousness isn't about flying
for the first time. He's planning to propose to her when we get to 1000 feet.
Up we go into a beautiful, still, cloudless spring sky. We topped out 3200 feet up
on this evening, looking for a breeze to carry us away from the lake.
Celebrating our gentle return to Mother Earth, the newly-engaged Cathy and Ryan
listen to Tom's "Champagne Story."
