This evening's flight was a belated Mothers' Day gift from Angela to Jackie.

Off we go, into the sky over Elkhorn.  Brisk evening winds carried us northwest, toward the Elkhorn River.

Matthew joined us in Jester Unwindz as we flew over the Elkhorn River bluffs near Waterloo.

Dropping low north of Valley, we start looking for harvested fields in which to land.

We found one, as Matthew disappears over the horizon.  This field of soybeans had been picked this very morning.

Touchdown!  Just a short slide across the field and we're back safely into the loving arms of Mother Earth.
