On this Star Wars Day*, we went to Bellevue to talk about ballooning with Girl Scout Troop 5532.
Rick always lights up when he gets his hands on a balloon.
Answering questions about the basket.
Explaining the reason for the Nomex fabric at the mouth.
As the inflation starts, the excitement builds.
"Have you ever been in a balloon before? Now you can truthfully say 'I have!'"
C'mon, Dad! Hurry!
Dreamtime is 85 feet tall and at least eight Girl Scouts across.
This young man is keeping a watchful eye to be sure we're not in the lights. It was close.
Many hands make light work.
The whole troop fit in the envelope; can they all fit in the basket?
