On this cool, frosty morning, we took up friends Wade, Andy, and Andy's son
Christopher.  Andy asked, "Geez, Chris, what did you eat this morning? We'll never
get off the ground!"  Chris thinks that's not a bad idea.

Our launch site is the small town of Waterloo, NE, in the Elkhorn River valley.

Looking back, Wayne is still waiting to launch.

Looking ahead, Matt and Rich are setting the pace.  Our goal: Arlington.

An inflight picture of the cozy quartet.  We usually fly only two passengers.  This
morning, the basket was a little crowded.  Wade, me, Chris and Andy (l-r).

One of the old meander lakes in the Elkhorn valley.  This may have been the river's
channel 40 years ago.

A tidy farmstead slides by beneath us.
